By accessing or using Mockup Studio ("Service") at mockupstudio.app, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
Mockup Studio is a free, browser-based t-shirt mockup generation tool that allows users to:
- Upload custom artwork and preview it on garment templates
- Adjust design placement, size, rotation, and opacity
- Select garment colors and background styles
- Export high-resolution PNG mockup images
The Service is provided free of charge with no account or registration required.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Mockup Studio only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:
- Create, distribute, or promote content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or offensive
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, including uploading copyrighted artwork you do not own or have rights to use
- Create content that constitutes hate speech, promotes discrimination, or targets individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
- Use automated tools or bots to access the Service at scale in a way that disrupts performance for other users
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these terms.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Your Content
You retain full ownership of any artwork, designs, and images you upload to Mockup Studio. By using the Service, you grant us no rights to your content. Your designs are never uploaded to our servers — all processing occurs locally in your browser.
4.2 Mockup Outputs
The mockup images you generate using Mockup Studio are yours to use for personal or commercial purposes, including selling on Etsy, Shopify, print-on-demand platforms, and in advertising campaigns.
4.3 Garment Template Assets
The garment photograph templates, background textures, and prop images included in Mockup Studio are owned by or licensed to Mockup Studio. They are provided exclusively for generating mockups within the Service and may not be extracted, redistributed, or used independently outside the context of mockup generation.
4.4 Service Code and Design
The Mockup Studio website, application code, user interface design, branding, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Mockup Studio. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any Service IP to you.
5. Free Service and Availability
Mockup Studio is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers, modify features, or discontinue the free tier at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranty that the Service will meet your specific requirements
- Warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Warranty of accuracy or reliability of results obtained through the Service
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mockup Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business
- Loss of data or goodwill
- Cost of substitute services
- Any damages resulting from your reliance on mockup outputs for commercial decisions
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim — which, given the Service is free, shall be zero.
8. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Etsy, Printful, or Google Fonts). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the relevant territory.
